Jelly and her little friend Rainey

Jelly would rather socialize with humans more than other dogs.   Indeed, as she ages she has become less tolerant of her fellow canine (unless they're a big male who hasn't been neutered -- then she's a BIG fan).   However,  she used to have a neighborhood pal named Rainey.   Rainey lived down the street in an apt. building.  Rainey's people would put her out in the yard before work.   Rainey was HIGH energy.

With the Rainey's owner's agreement I would let Jelly in for some play.  Basically Jelly's goal was to pin little Rainey to the ground (all in good fun).   However, Rainey, little JRT mix,  was FAST.   So, they would race around the small yard both benefiting from the energy release.  Rainey eventually moved out to the country with her people when they retired.
